Dietrich is a publishing professional with over 10 years of experience in leading roles in international open access scientific publishing house. Dietrich joined the Molecular Diversity Preservation International association (MDPI) based in Basel, Switzerland in August 2005, significantly building up its professional operations, and, in 2010, co-founded MDPI AG, the publishing branch of the association. There, he served as CEO and CTO, and gained invaluable practical experience as the Managing Editor of several journals including the International Journal of Molecular Sciences. During his time at the company, he oversaw its establishment as one of the fastest growing open access publishers in the world, now employing more than 300 staff and publishing 12,000 scientific and scholarly articles per year. In 2016, Dietrich co-founded Ediqo as Managing Director.

Joanna is a writer, editor and strategist who has worked in creative roles across the resources, construction and education sectors. After graduating from the University of Queensland with degrees in Journalism and Political Science, Joanna joined the Queensland Resources Council where she led a number of innovative careers marketing campaigns for the mining and energy sector working with the state’s universities. Since moving to Zurich in 2014, Joanna has worked as an editor, revising manuscripts and theses across a wide range of academic and scientific fields for universities around the world. During this time, she established her own editing business, EditFox, in recognition of a growing need for professional English services that are accessible to small businesses and individuals. In 2016, she co-founded Ediqo and was appointed Head of Operations.

Weiqiang is an experienced IT architect. Since graduating from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich with a Master in Computer Science, Weiqiang has worked in the FinTech industry as a software engineer, architect and project manager, where he has overseen IT projects in online banking, trading and investments for leading banks worldwide. In 2016, he co-founded Ediqo and was appointed Head of Technology. In this function, he leads the Ediqo software development team and is responsible for the IT infrastructure and security of the Ediqo platform.
